The Longines Global Champions Tour and the Global Champions League, Team Competition, CSI 5* GPs, bring together more than 60 top show jumpers in the world from 20 nations, to compete in prestigious 17 locations 2018 spanning three continents   -  such as Miami Beach, Madrid, Saint Tropez, Cascais, Monaco, Paris, Shanghai, Rome, Doha, Quatar, Prague etc. for unprecedented prize money.
This   17 event Tour offers some of the most explosive and exciting competition of any equestrian series, and Millions of people tune in or visit these events  to enjoy thrilling action and world class hospitality from the world’s premier show jumping series, featuring the top ranked show jumpers in the world.

A successful season up to now also for worlds best Riders such as spanish Eduardo Álvarez Aznar (podiums in Mexico City, Madrid, Cascais, Saint Tropez, etc.) and  Team 'Madrid in Motion' sponsored by 'Herederos del Marqués de Riscal' and others, scoring important  points in all 9 past events - so  just qualified in Monaco for the innovative 'Super Cup' in Prague Decembre this year.

Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping will be a unique sporting, social and cultural spectacular, set once again against the backdrop of one of the world's most iconic landmarks, the Eiffel Tower.
The grandeur and magic of this mystical city Paris have been described by many famous writers and yet it still retains the enigmatic feel of Mona Lisa’s smile. Paris one of the most visited cities of the world, also boasts a high concentration of national and international political, scientific and cultural institutions and has the largest business district in Europe. A legendary centre of fashion and haute couture tailoring, Paris Fashion Week is still the most celebrated event in the fashion world.
And French “art de vivre” will as well be celebrated through gastronomy in the reception areas of the LGCT event, with restaurants run by two famous 3-star chefs, Alain Ducasse and Frédéric Vardon.
Over 50,000 visitors are expected to what's become a meeting place for horse lovers around the world in this celebration of all things Equus.

Top international riders this weekend in Paris:
Seven out of the top 10 in the LGCT ranking will be in action with 1. Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS), 2. Ben Maher (GBR), 3. Scott Brash (GBR), Harrie Smolders (NED), Alberto Zorzi (ITA), last year’s LGCT Grand Prix of Paris winner Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Jos Verlooy (BEL) all looking for a big points haul under the iconic Eiffel Tower.

Other top international riders this weekend include names such as Eduardo Álvarez Aznar (ESP), Christian Ahlmann (GER), Maikel van der Vleuten (NED), Simon Delestre (FRA), Jerome Guery (BEL), Gregory Wathelet (BEL), Roger-Yves Bost (FRA), Rolf-Goran Bengtsson (SWE), Ludger Beerbaum (GER), Marcus Ehning (GER), Bertram Allen (IRL), Laura Kraut (USA), Olivier Philippaerts (BEL), Lorenzo de Luca (ITA), Michael Whitaker (GBR), Niels Bruynseels (BEL), Peder Fredricson (SWE), Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP), Beezie Madden (USA) and Philippe Rozier (FRA), Jennifer Gates (USA), Jessica Springsteen (USA), etc.   ( Current ranking )


The GCL CSI 5* GP, a team competition, where riders unite like never before to compete for points in the overall Championship.
In 2018 a total of  19 international  Teams (5 riders/Team) participate in this global race, such as current championship Leader   Team 'London Knights' (Ben Maher, Martin Fuchs, Olivier Philippaerts, Nicola Philippaerts, Emily Moffitt); 'Valkenswaard United', (Marcus Ehning, Bertram Allen, Alberto Zorzi, Jur Vrieling, Maurice Tebbel);   Team 'Rome Gladiators', (Lorenzo de Luca, Laura Kraut, Marlon Módolo Zanotelli, Abdel Saïd, Constant van Paesschen);  
and other successful Teams fighting for the Medalls such as 'Madrid in Motion' (Eduardo Álvarez Aznar, Maikel van der Vleuten, Marc Houtzager, Eric van der Vleuten, Michael G Duffy: sponsored by 'Herederos del Marqués de Riscal' and 'Massimo Dutti').  



In Paris, the three top Rider 'Marc Houtzager, Maikel van der Vleuten, and Eduardo Álvarez Aznar will represent the 'Madrid in Motion' team and fight hard for more points !

As all roads lead to the innovative new GC Prague Playoffs 'Super Cup', which will see the top  teams compete in the ultimate showdown in December 2018, so every point counts over the course of the Championship calendar.
